Kenshin and Dome (Kenshin Kawakami and Kosuke Fukudome - we Dragons fan call them as such for long time) finally face off in different uniform first time in regular season. Dome wrote about it in his recent diary how he feels to hit against his long time friend.
So fun to watch!

As an unrelated question, assuming that you’re in Japan, how would you describe the coverage of Kenshin’s pitching for the Braves in the Japanese sports media?

BTW, I like his line about hiding their grins when they see each other. Funny stuff.

NHK's "Sports Continent"
There was a very good documentary program of Kenshin on NHK, “Sports Tairiku” (means “Sports Continent”), it showed very good detailed report and analysis of his performance and interviews after joining Braves. Rough story is that he lost his balanced pitching form and precise control of his fastball, which is his biggest weapon, not just by slippy baseball but using slow curve ball much more than he used to. Then he adjusted those problems by running more distance and touched up his form by playing catch, not in bullpen.
There are so many Japanese players in MLB right now comparing with a couple of years ago, so Kenshin is covered by media as one of them among Dome, Ichiro, Matsui and others, but this kind of news, like very first time to face his old friend, would make him to headline.
He also writes weblog sometime and this is very informative. But he’s not post new entry last month though.
