Vazquez could be trade bait for a bat?
It's at the bottom of the article. Lowe, JJ, Kawakami, Medlen, Glavine? I don't know if that's going to cut it down the stretch. Maybe with Hudson and Hanson in 2010 this makes sense.

I’d rather keep Vazquez and trade Lowe. I guess Vazquez has more value though.
We’ll see if anything happens though.
Well I'd rather trade Kawakami but it ain't happening.
Honest question. Does anyone think that kawakami is going to be a scout/pr guy for atlanta in asian markets after his contract?
Seems to me...
that come early August the Braves could have two decent Major League starting rotations. Six Major leaguers in Lowe, Vasquez, Glavine, Hudson, JJ and KK. In addition, they seem to have 4 near ready young arms at various stages of early careers. Now, I know the old adage that you can never have enough pitching , but that is a bit overboard. I think it was in part by design to have extra pitching by Wren, as the result of the past few year’s breakdowns.Seems to me, that Hudson and Vasquez will be a redundancy next year.Further , Huddy is not going to bring in much this year in the way of trade value, so it is logical that if the Braves were going to trade a rotation guy for a bat this year, Vasquez would be the guy. I am wondering,, what you folks think of offering JJ , and what we could get in return?
