I’ve seen guys wear sunglasses with the old school mask (me included), but I guess its a little different with normal glasses then.

This has the capability of being one of those scenarios where if McCann just got the appropriate corrective lasik, he’d be back in a shorter time span than it would be to try all these corrective lenses, glasses, and catchers masks, before realizing that it’s just not working out and needing to get the corrective lasik.

Honestly, I still have no idea why he went on the DL in the first place if they weren’t planning on the surgery. I’m pretty sure Maddux had it during the season, and just had his next start pushed back a few days, it’s not like it’s something that would have had him missing a month.

would goggles not be better for under the mask?

seems like they would be less likely to come off if he needs to rip his mask off and the ones used in the NBA dont seem to fog up much

I’ve worn sunglasses under the normal catchers mask and didn’t have a problem with them. Just takes a little getting used to. The Ho-Grant goggles would be money though.
