Who's Kevin Kernan?
The link links to itself. I’d like to read this, but I can’t even find Kernan on the ESPN site. Was it something on-air?
No wonder nobody likes you, Tuttle... everything's a (Pujols) damn debate.

yeah, sorry -- on air
First Take is a program that runs on ESPN2, so no link.
Kernan is actually a reporter for one of the NY papers (I think the Post). They have him on often to talk about baseball in general. He was talking about prospects and got around to Hanson and said the quote.

Gotcha. So according to him, Hanson’s getting called up when the Braves are in Baltimore.
…Do I need to even continue?

I hope it's true
Baltimore would be a good place to start, plus I live nearish to Baltimore, so I might be able to make it…

Only thing I'd worry about in B'more
Is that is a tiny ass ballpark for a newbie flyball pitcher to break into. I’d hate to see a “one bad inning” with a few homers derail his undeniable awesomeness.
Seriously, though, can we pimp this kid any harder? Johan Santana could barely live up to this level of hype.

Oh jeezus, if that happens, we may require 2 nights in Baltimore

So what happens to Glavine? He’d be terrible in the bullpen. I’d like to see Medlen get a few more chances too.
If Dunn walks 30 fewer times, he'll drive in 15 more runs. This is thanks to the scientifically proven formula: RBI = (this is nonsense) (I made it all up).
Here's a stat: Wins as manager: Dusty Baker, 1,162; Bill James, 0.

They might be using Medlen as a bandaid. Knowing that JoJo would likely lose the games he started, why not bring Medlen in to bridge the gap until bothTommy’s are ready.
/poor_sample_size
ERA:
JoJo 7.00
Medlen 9.72
Glavine* 5.54
IP/G:
JoJo 5.4
Medlen 4.1
Glavine* 4.9
WHIP:
JoJo 1.48
Medlen 1.68
Glavine* 1.64
*stats are for Glavine’s worst season since breaking in over 20 years ago (ie, 2008).
All that said, I hope Medlen comes in and pitches “Lights Out” next start and can protect young Tommy from coming up too early. Have to wonder if we aren’t rushing prospects with all of the amazing AAA players who turn into mediocre MLB players.
