Nothing real exciting going on in this game. Brandon Jones is hitting .326 on the season and has a OBP over .400. The problem is he is hitting for no power. I'd love to shove him in our OF right now and he can probably hold his own, but he isn't really the answer to our offensive problems. The bullpen for Gwinnett was solid tonight going 5.1 scoreless innings with 7 strike outs. Luis Valdez has 8 saves on the season with a 1.77 ERA. He has given up 8 unearned runs on the season as well, which would triple his ERA. Manny Acosta has been solid as the set up man for Gwinnett as well.
