Braves - Mets Series Preview Video

I participated in a series preview webcast with the guys from MetsBlog and SNY.tv. They edited me a bit at the end, there was one more question about the bullpen, but I guess they were running long. Either that or I was getting really verbose, which I have the tendency to do. Check out the show below:

You have to speak in small words for New York fans. Most of them don’t have a 4th grade education, otherwise they wouldn’t be New York fans.

It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again.

Another thought on Steve Phillips...

Almost no one in america was as bad at their job as Steve Phillips was, and he is rewarded with a high paying broadcasting gig from ESPN.

If I was as consistently terrible at my profession as him, I am pretty sure I would never be allowed to do it anywhere else. God bless america.

That being said, I do like seeing him now and then because it makes me smile in the same way as Chipper’s kid “Shea” does.
