Free Braves on MLB Extra Innings
I thought everyone might like to know that MLB Extra Innings is having a free preview April 6th thru the 12th. For those of us who don't live in the south any longer this will be a chance to check out some games the first week of the season for free.
Can someone please fill me in on the MLB.TV online package please? I’m in Kansas City and the Braves are almost never on tv here so I am thinking about purchasing the online MLB.TV package. Are the games shown full screen or do i have to look at a tiny broadcast? Is the premium package that much better than the regular package?
I have a 720P HD monitor but are there enough HD games available to justify the extra expense? Is the the picture quality for the regular package pretty good? I would appreciate any answers you guys can give me. My wife will hate on me for spending the extra $ but I can’t stand another season without seeing my Braves on a nightly basis and we are moving soon so I can't buy the whole season of MLB Extra Innings.

I was disappointed with it when I had it.
With those who don't give a damn about baseball, I can only sympathize. I do not resent them. I am even willing to concede that many of them are physically clean, good to their mothers and in favor of world peace. But while the game is on, I can't think of anything to say to them.

Just had tons of issues with the sound syncing up wrong, shitty picture quality, etc. It was a couple years ago so maybe it’s better now.

My only concern with MLB.tv in previous years was the fact they didn’t use spring training for beta testing. This lead to a tremendous amount of problems that usually lasted throughout April. This year they did beta testing and from what I understand the Flash Player is a much, much better product. I’ll never try to claim they don’t have their issues, but at the very least they are listening to the complaints and trying to make it better.

There are still some issues…audio syncing. Either that, or Vin Scully is waaaaaaaaay behind the action.

DUDE!
The guy is like 9000000 years old, I am pretty sure he called the Don Larsen’s perfect game in the 1956 World Series. He is an OG.
best defensive shortstop in baseball hahahahahahahahahah (omar visquel)
I had massive problems trying to get it to work on my computer. However, it was easy to get my money back when I realized it wasn’t going to work, and I bought Extra Innings through cable, couldn’t be more happy with that purchase.

We are about to move (in a couple months) a few miles south of where we live now and a different cable company owns that area so I can’t buy Extra Innings now.
