It’s very likely that McCann is going on DL tomorrow, and he made it sound like he’s decided to have the surgery. He wants to get this squared away now, he said, miss a couple of weeks and get back, rather than keep trying to fix it with contacts, etc.

Sammons has been called from Gwinnett. Again, it’s not definite yet, but sounds pretty close to definite. As Bobby said, he didn’t anticipate anything changing overnight. McCann sounds like, in his mind, he’s already decided to have Lasik.

I think if he goes ahead and has the procedure done now, he'll be back before too much longer. Having the procedure done now will be a lot better than him waiting to have it done since it's obvious that he's having problems with that left eye still.

Good call. Get her done now, rather than later.

We have 2 very decent back-ups in the meantime

Think happy thoughts..

Ugh, this concerns me. This has all the making of one of those stories of a great ballplayer who went down in his prime due to some weird ass injury. Luckily the medical field made great strides in vision with the LAsik stuff.
