The Braves Stink
I'm getting really tired of watching this team up on the shortend of the stick, too often. I've watched them for alot of years, and just can't stand to see the horrible play anymore. I love my team, but something got to give. These guys really stink.
Our left field position alone tonight caused us a lose. When you get two baserunners on with no out and can't even get them in. It's not just a rare occation. I has happened time and time again. It's getting really hard to watch.

Time for a new lineup
yep. if you dont count the 11-1 win on sunday, the Braves have scored 12 runs in the last 7 games. Thats something like 1 run/every 5 innings. really? thats horrible.
i say new lineup tomorrow night:
Schafer
Escobar
Jones
McCann
Kotchman (Switch spots with FYF if its a LHP)
Francoeur
Johnson
Diaz
why do we have jordan schafer, are ONLY fast runner, hitting 8th? Im pretty sure McCann is still leading in the steals department.
Be quick, but don't hurry.
Hmmm...
didn’t we score 3 runs tonight? Were there some negative runs scored in there?

Oh...
Haha…nevermind. If you don’t count that game.

OK...
But I would definitely flip Kelly and Diaz. Kelly’s OBP would help to turn the lineup over and hopefully Diaz’ batting average would help drive some more in.
That, and I hate Escobar batting anywhere other than leadoff or…maybe ninth? I know Bobby would never do it, but good lord I’m tired of seeing him hit into DP’s.
You gave me a...
thata boy?
That hurts.

Because he is a rookie who strikes out a lot.

No team is perfect...
The Braves, just have to find a way to make it where every single mistake they make doesn’t come back to haunt them.

Great first post! Way to add to the site!

Sweet.
So stop watching. Feel free to jump back on the bandwagon when they start winning, though. That’s always cool. Thanks for the input!

ej, why don’t you post more often?

Well...
Honestly, I just haven’t had much occasion to comment recently. As a big Broncos fan, this is a pretty important time for the franchise and – with all due respect to this place – that site has a different vibe to it all together. As for baseball season, I like to wait a while before passing judgment. I don’t mess with my line-up in fantasy for the first week or two, don’t add/drop for another week or two and only then do I begin to evalute the season. I’ll be around more often later though and I’m always lurking!

Oh ok, I was just wondering and thought I would ask, I enjoy reading your well-reasoned posts and I hadn’t seen you around lately.

No clue, royhobbs probably banned him. He has an itchy trigger finger.

You’re a douche. And a whiner. And a wuss. And like the others have written, you added nothing to the conversation. Minus infinity for you.
