Through two games, Chipper is off to a slow start and McCann had a nice game against Canada with a homer.

Blanco is leading off for a Venezuela team loaded with offensive talent.  Javier Vazquez pitched well in Puerto Rico's opening game win over Panama. 

One lament, and I realize that the money wasn't there, but Adam Dunn has reached base safely 6 times his first 7 WBC at bats with two homeruns.  He belted an opposite field shot last night that was just pure strength and another mammoth shot tonight in the upper deck.  Also made a couple nice defensive plays (for him).  Know that's water under the bridge, but Washington got a good player.
