According to the AP, Coach Sherry Haithcock was at a National Softball Association meeting in Kansas City, Missouri, where she met with dozens of fans and participated in voluntary photo ops. Reports indicate that Haithcock was incredibly friendly, in good spirits, and excited about her role with the Atlanta Braves this season. She then signed baseballs and other memorabilia for about fifty fans who had gathered in an adjacent hallway.
