IMO, Chipper should just stop worrying about the WBC before he seriously injures himself and is out a majority of the year. This is one of the main reasons why most fans hope USA loses tonight.

According to multiple reports, Chipper has left the USA team. I'm assuming he's on his way back to Braves camp.

I hope they win, too, but on the other hand, it would be nice for the two stars of the team to get back to the Braves camp, although Mac is doing wonderfully in the Classic. Chipper, not so much.

I think the AP report syas he’s left the team, so i think that means he is done.

Your source for blind optimism.

They said that on ESPN 2 as well that he had already packed his bags and left.

Here lately all chipper can do is stay injured, maybe he should set on the bench awhile.

Smoltz isn't similar to Eckerlsey. He's better. Much better.

I know it's "only spring training," but is it time to be concerned about McLouth?
