Andruw is sorry...for sucking.
Outfielder, now trying to catch on with the Texas Rangers, says he's sorry he 'didn't stand up to my reputation' last season in L.A.
This is shocking! Has the world ended yet?

Jones certainly sucked in LA...
but I don’t want Bill Plaschke ripping anyone for sucking. Have you read his columns? They’re aweful. On TV he’s worse.
The two guys who need to apologize to LA sports fans :
1. Ned Colletti
So, uh, Ned, you’ve got two very talented young outfielders who are simply too good to stay in the minors. What’s your plan? Oh that’s right, you signed Juan Pierre to a big deal. Brilliant.
2. Bill Plaschke
He’s almost Jay Mariotti bad. Almost.

I understand...
That Plaschke is an LA writer, making interest for LA readers and all, but could he possibly have taken a more low-brow, spineless route than ripping Andruw Jones?
Andruw didn’t have to dwell on his bad time in LA, but he gave those who might be interested the dignity of admitting his poor performance and apologizing for not giving his best. He didn’t have to, but he did, but if clowns like Plaschke are going to rip him for it, no player is going to want to do similarly in the future.
No wonder nobody likes you, Tuttle... everything's a (Pujols) damn debate.
