Andrew to the Rangers, Ohman gone, Will Glavine accept the offer? What does this mean?
The NY Post reported that Andrew Jones will sign with an already crowded outfield Texas Rangers team to a minor league deal worth $500k. Good Luck in Texas! Will Ohman had an offer on the table from the Braves since the beginning of the winter meetings and that offer is now off! Tom Glavine was offered a contract some where in the neighborhhod of $1-2million dollars, will Glavine accept that offer is TBD. I have a sense the Braves are going to make a move for an OF before Spring Training begins next week. Jones not offered a contract, Glavine offered $1mil, Ohman deal off the table. What do you think? Are the Braves saving money to go after that Bat? let me Know what you think!

i’m not sure what to make of all of this actually
AJ gone, i was somewhat hoping to see him back
i’m surprised that Ohman’s offer is gone, but who knows we have a great Bullpen anyway and paying as much as he wanted for a middle of relief guy, not to stocked about that
Glav he’s not what he used to be, but i would like to see him in the pen or 5 hole
i get the sense that something is going to happen and deals, FA signings are in the works, saving the money for a big contract? who knows but i think we’ll find out very soon

No!
Ohman>>>Glavine! At least Ohman is an experienced lefty in the pen. Glavine will be a wasted roster spot. I love Glavine but this isn’t the time for nostalgia. We should sign Ohman and a good bat for LF. Oh well, what do I know? If we sign Glavine it needs to be for no more than 1.5 million with tough incentives for up to 5 million more.

wow...have you heard what the offer was?
I’ll tell you! :)
it was for less than $2M (close to your 1.5) with NO incentives! doesnt that sound better?
