James Shields vs John Smoltz at Age 26
Tommy Rancel over at DRaysBay had a good compairson today between these two. As a fan of both teams this makes me happy.

At the tail end of his career, Smotlz’s fastball had on average, 2 mph faster than Shields’s in his prime. Thats a pretty big difference.

So you are upset that he spelled Smoltz wrong, yet you go and put two L’s in players and you spell name as nome??

Wow…
I guess I should be one to talk.
There's nights that I can't even walk.
There's days I couldn't give a fuck.
And in between is where I'm stuck.

where are the comparison’s the only similarity is that they throw fastballs and have a similar FIP… im sure there are tons of pitchers who havea sub 4 FIP at age 26 (or maybe not tons but still)
