PrintI'm always reminding myself that our dynasty in the 90s was built around amazing pitching then hiting. We weren't exactly smashing the shit out of the ball back in the glory days. Someone said that on here, not sure who it was, but it makes more sense looking at our offense today. I don't think it's gonna be bad, but it won't be phenomenal either.
If we get 3 runs that should be good for J.J. and Lowe. Not sure how Vazquez will do switching leagues. I still do think we have the most well rounded rotation right now in the east.. Kawakami and the 5th spot (hopefully Hanson!!!) will be the wild cards. It will all come down to the pen though which is looking very lethal to me.

It would be the best thing ever if Hanson were the guy slated to open up the G-Braves new ballpark in April.
No wonder nobody likes you, Tuttle... everything's a (Pujols) damn debate.
Do you know when the G-Braves opener is? Also, I wonder when the Braves will even first need their 5th starter, probably late April at the earliest.
Would make sense to let Glavine see if he can get 5-6 decent starts in, then bring Hanson up in June.

April 9th for the season, April 17th for the home/new park opener.
I vaguely recall either Cox or another official mention the lack of need for a 5th starter until about the 18th or 19th…

I was being lazy.
So, if ATL can squeeze 6 decent starts or so from Glavine, they could push Hanson’s call-up to June 1. That would be ideal.
