Call Me Crazy But....
What would you guys say about looking in to Barry Bonds? No one would ever expect this. Bonds has been out and should actually be healthy. Would a Bonds/Diaz platoon work for you guys? He would put people in the seats and nearly cost us nothing. Yes I know he's not a good clubhouse guy but we need to get people talking about us again in a good way. For some reason I think this would work. God I know I'm gonna raped on this.

Eff it.
Why not? Bring in Bonds. Grant him #44, too. Controversy creates cash, and that’s ultimately all that Liberty Media is looking for. No publicity, is bad publicity, especially when publicity = ratings, and ratings = money, and money = what Liberty Media is looking for!
No wonder nobody likes you, Tuttle... everything's a (Pujols) damn debate.
are you crazy.....
here are a few reasons
1. he is 44
2. he is drug free
3. has not played in a long time
4. he is a cancer
………………..I could go in forever but why
"we need to get people talking about us again in a good way. "
If we got Bonds people would not talk about us in a good way. I honestly don’t think the fans would accept the idea of him playing in Hanks house. This is a very very bad idea. He is also about to face possible prison time. He needs to focus on his freedom not baseball.

Ummm.....Maybe?
Only if we created a locker room and dugout just for him. He is allowed absolutely no contact with any other Braves player. He is only allowed to to be a black hole of suck in the outfield and smash 30 HR’s in part-time duty.
I could care less...
if the fans are in the stands and if it takes aging superstars to get them to show up, they aren’t a true fan. I don’t know how effective Barry would be at this point. If he were clean, would he then resume a normal pattern of aging? If so, then he probably doesn’t make sense from a baseball standpoint. His defense and arm are just awful at this point, so if his offense has slipped he is not nearly as valuable as he was even the last time he played. I doubt the “Great” Barry Bonds would sign on to be a platoon player. Maybe he has been humbled but I doubt it.
And here’s the real kicker, he is probably headed to jail on felony perjury charges and though probably wouldn’t be sentenced during the season, he would miss time to be at the trial. I doubt his focus would be on baseball while facing jail time.
"Fools rush in where fools have been before"
Couldn’t care less would imply that I don’t care at all. Could care less implies I have some level of care. I have a low level of care here in that I want people at the games but I want them there for the right reasons. So, I could care less if the fans are in the stands.
"Fools rush in where fools have been before"
Well, I’ll be damned. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone actually use the phrase “I could care less” and actually mean it that way.

?
I can’t say that I hear people use it incorrectly more than correctly. And even if they do, thats no reason for you do use it incorrectly.

Re-Burn. “JEG’ed”, which doesn’t sound nearly as cool as “Smoltz’s Beard’ed”.

His Defense and Arm are awful at this point
Hell when were they ever good? But I’ll be honest, we sign Bonds, I become a Texas Rangers fan

actually Bonds was one of the better LF defensively… before his head got bigger (physically and metaphorically, although i dont think his head could have metaphorically gotten any bigger but i digress)
Heyward,Hanson, and Shaffer r ready now!! Why do you think they havent signed the "right handed bat"?

His arm was always weak
Sid Bream anyone? Should’ve been out by a mile. That was the last year I was a Pirate fan.
On a sidebar
If Sid Bream started out a second base right now….He MIGHT get home by Tuesday…. and Bonds couldn’t throw him out

I don't think that he would put many fans in the seats...
But I do think that he would put contract killers in the seats. EVERYONE HATES HIM!
