Read a couple articles about the fallout of the Abreu and Dunn deals. Still a number of teams out there needing an outfield bat. Some think that the Braves are still in the mix for Swisher or Nady. With the cap as it is, the Yanks will likely have to eat some of those contracts, which in turn would warrant a higher price.
You're in Frank Wren's shoes. It goes without saying the Yankees are always in need of minor league talent and we have some to give. Who would you give up for either of those two players?
I think it's also safe to say that if Jason Heyward, Freddie Freeman, and Tommy Hanson weren't available for Jake Peavy, then I highly doubt they will be available for those two.
