DOB: Troy Glaus will be...
the Braves' 11th different Opening Day starting 1B in the last 12 years. Good lord.
Freddie Freeman, you better tear it up in Atlanta for a long, long time.

Can anyone run down the list?...
I’d have thought LaRoche had at least 2-3 years there. Was he the only one?
I got...
09-Kotchman
08-Tex
07-Wilson or Thorman
06-LaRoche
then no clue
Ken Caminiti might be in there some where, maybe Klesko.
JULIO FRANCO!
I used to like Frank Wren...not anymore. I want John Schierholz back!

Something like this
2010 – Glaus
2009 – Kotchman
2008 – Texiera
2007 – Thorman
2006 – LaRoche
2005 – LaRoche
2004 – Franco
2003 – Fick
2002 – Surhoff
2001 – Brogna
2000 – Galarraga
1999 – Klesko
1998 – Galarraga
1997 – McGriff
Heaven is a baseball field.
Wow, thanks.
that’s some serious bad for most of the decade, especially the first half of it. It would be nice if Freeman could lock that down next decade.
who the hell is Brogna?
Wasn’t 2001 the year we had a crazy offense and won 103 games or so? I definately dont remember him.

Rico.
He had a very nondescript career playing mostly in the NL East (first NY, then PHI, then us.) And ’03 was the ridiculous year Bob Fick went off…well, for him, anyway.
Overheard in press box, from local reporter: 'If this Moore kid was any good, they'd be up 31-0 right now.'

Yeah '03 was when our offense was sick-nasty
Almost everyone had a career year.
Furcal
Giles
Sheffield
Chipper
A.J.
Lopez
Castilla
Fick
