Tommy Hanson Will Be at Rome's Hot Stove Gathering
So I'm posting this under fanposts A) because I want to, and B) I couldn't make the fanshots thing work the way I wanted it to. So here it is, and the title says it all. If you're anywhere near, you really should go to this thing. I live an hour and a half away, and last year is the first one I've missed in a while, which was stupid of me because Brian McCann was there. Oh well. It's well worth the drive (in my opinion), and my daughter and I have made a bit of a tradition of it.
HERE is the link to the Rome Braves article with details.
So this year I'm going, and my targeted item to autograph is an 11x14 shot I have hanging in my classroom at school of Tommy I took when he was in Rome. (The picture below is one I made and had signed as a reading prize .....the Hanson shot is on it):
Interesting collection of people there, no?
So anyway, I'm going. I'll report back here and post pictures if I get any.
And for the guys at the paper who like to print my pictures without permission, this picture is my property. Not that anybody would want it. Just sayin'.

Those are great shots. Yeah, I’ve started copyrighting my photos, too. Doesn’t really do much, but at least it’s in the metadata. Toying with the watermark idea as well, the more I see my shots being used but uncredited.
Here’s one of Tommy I shot at the Hudson event last month. Could’ve been better with an external strobe off to the side, but not too bad for being in the middle of a concert at night, outdoors.
Hope you and your daughter have a great time!

Nice pic of Tommy
he looks like a Lumberjack.
"Sometimes I wonder what'd it be like to be outside and not hear the birds chirping...I think it'd be kind of nice."

Nice pics !!
Great shots. Re the Rome hot stove….we’ve been to just about all of them. They are really nice. Forgot the camera last year, but it was well worth the hour or so we spent in line to see the look on my son’s face when he got Mac’s auto on his baseball !!! If you are close enough, I’d agree with Secondbass on the rec. The silent auction is really neat too, some really good stuff from lots of MiLB teams all over the place, some at really reasonable prices. Great eats too. Would love to meet any of you who come up.
