i love this move…the guy raked in AAA last year, and had about a 10 game stretch with the dodgers and actually did pretty good…maybe he’s finally figured things out, its definatley worth a shot…

He's a minor league free agent, it's ain't gonna be peaches and cream...

but his power is definitely intriguing. He may not be ideal, but I’m not opposed to giving a speedy or power hitting older prospect a chance for half a season in right or left. If they flame out, we’ve got Heyward likely taking over by June anyway. If we find a good one, even better!

Here are Pujols's stats: 1.000/1.000/4.000/5.000. That's right. He is batting a thousand, with a thousand OBP (naturally), and every hit has been a home run, and thus his OPS is a perfect 5.000.
