The only difference with the Mailman is
That Smoltz has a ring. He’s just trying to hop on the best gravy train to win another one. So that kind of makes him like, Shaq.
If this were to come into fruition, I can imagine how many games it would take before Smoltz starts complaining about Citizens Bank Park being a bandbox when it’s actually statistically closer to neutral.

why not just sign on with the Yankees to be either a 5th starter or set up for Rivera.
If he wants a ring, he should come back to Atlanta with his tail between his legs and accept a $1M offer.
