I see you are still relatively new here

so first, welcome! stay for a while, this is an awesome site, maybe the best Braves blog around.
Second- Awesome Post! there are a bunch of Yunel fans here who will love this post as much as I do. Pics go a long way on this site and this has to be my favorite right now behind rookie hazing pictures (i know that sounded a little akward)

I do like this Braves blog better than some of the other ones I have been too. Thanks for the kinda words. I love taking pictures of Braves and it’s nice to have a place where they are appreciated. I will continue to post more until I run out. Hopefully by then it will be spring 2010!

haha. btw, the one thing you have to learn that most newcomers can’t seem to get is the reply button. It just breaks up a conversation if you attempt to reply to a comment but don’t do it as a reply.

the pictures are fantastic; they look good enough for a magazine

and lookin at these pictures, it’s pretty clear: Yunel aint the best lookin dude on the block. It’s a good thing he’s gonna be stinkin rich one day, cause he definately wouldnt get the ladies on his looks alone lol

Well, I don’t know how great the video equipment really is, but the picture camera is getting better, cause I just got a new telephoto lens. Finally got to try it out on baseball yesterday when the guys from my college played an intersquad game:

I use a Nikon D50. It’s actually one of their regular consumer models. I have a Nikon 200mm lens also.

Appreciate the info! Someday I hope to grow up (no wait, I did that and it sucked) and be able to afford “regular consumer” prices :). After seeing the superior quality of your pics, I’ll have to keep Nikon in mind (I’ve used Canons or Minoltas my whole life).

well when I said “regular consumer” I was just meaning it wasn’t some $4,000 pro model. I got it at Best Buy if that tells you anything.

Seriously though, have you ever had somebody hand you one of those and ask you to take a picture. It’s like a job that need a hammer and somebody gives you a soggy, limp stick of wood.
