Gonzo back to Pirates?

Is this a joke? I mean, seriously, they want to get into a bidding war against the Yankees and lose draft picks to boot?

The Pirates are probably the worst run team in baseball. They got basically nothing besides salary relief for Jason Bay, Xavier Nady, Nate McLouth, Adam LaRoche and Jack Wilson. Their minor league system should be stacked and it’s been pretty weak for years now.

Poor Dan Moskos. I love the guy, and he really is a good pitcher, but damn they should have taken Wieters. It’s not his fault the Pirates are dumb.

Agreed

I doubt we get a first rounder for Gonzo, at least the Pirates’s second rounder is an early second rounder and it’s not like they’ll sign two Class A guys.
