Dan Perry's 10 things that need to happen this offseason
He lists the Braves trading for Adrian Gonzalez at number 4. What do you guys think, do we need to trade for Adrian Gonzalez?

I would shit my pants if we got AGon
Freeman
Schafer
Spurril
Hicks
Yeah? Or is that too much?
"Are you tryin to say Jesus Christ can't hit a curveball?"
the one problem with giving up Freeman is that AGon is walking after 2011
(Yunel is still the Queen of Hearts)
yeah
i was thinking that too. We would probably be giving up Teheran if we didn’t send em FF tho. I’m not sure I wanna trade him.

WAY too much.
"My team of nine guys who hit like Albert Pujols and never ever bunt just beat your team with one Shane Victorino 472 to 3."

Isn’t SD’s top prospect a first bagger?

Lol. They have Kyle Blanks...
He looked awful last year tho
MATT DIAZ IS THE F**K*NG MAN.
They made me change my signature...
This article did get me to think about the Cubs – possible sending KJ to Chicago for someone in return – preferably Mr Fox (seeing as how he is a defensive liablity…perhaps they would go for it). I’d be willing to live with errors in LF again with Mr. Fox’s bat in the lineup every night.
The Cubbies do have a huge hole at 2B, but I am not sure if they would give up Fox to fix that hole…

I fear A-Gon might be a pipe dream
MIGHT before I get blasted. I know there’s a chance, but considering what we’d have to give up, the near certainty he’ll walk after ‘11, and the all-too-recent spectre of the Tex trade still hanging over us, I just don’t see us making that move. But, screw the Tigers and Cardinals, we should do numbers 9 and 10. Wagner and Cameron are absolutely perfect fits for this club.
Awful idea, just awful
We cannot keep givig away our top prospects for two year rentals. It’s just not smart to trade six years of Schafer and Freeman and multiple top pitching prospects for just two years of Gonzalez.
Plus isn’t he left handed? If we are going to break the bank shouldn’t we at least get our dream RH power bat?

Two relatively cheap options
Mike Cameron in center, slide Nate over to left and sign Troy Glaus, he’s good when not injured, for 1B and we are set with a balanced lineup.
not a bad idea. It would let Schafer and Freeman develop a little more in the minors and it wouldn’t block them.
