Ex-Braves pitcher John Foster becomes a college baseball coach
He's one of those guys who hands around in a baseball career however he can. I always liked him when he was on the Braves.

Good for John. He really is one of the nicest, most down to earth guys I’ve met with the Braves. Looks like he needs a haircut in that pic though.

I remember when he pitched for us, later in the season, i started noticing that every time the tv broadcast showed someone warming up in the bullpen, John Foster would come out the door and stretch or stand in front of the trashcan. The broadcasters eventually noticed and asked him about it, and it turned out he would be on the other side of the door watching on tv, waiting to pounce out the door on every bullpen shot.
