The Nippon Ham Fighters on Tuesday announced the acquisition of former Atlanta Braves pitcher Buddy Carlyle.
Buddy goes to Japan
This is probably a good move by Carlyle. He would likely only have gotten a minor league deal with a team in the states. It's also possible that he wanted to go back to starting and this was a means to an end.

Fail.
Here are Pujols's stats: 1.000/1.000/4.000/5.000. That's right. He is batting a thousand, with a thousand OBP (naturally), and every hit has been a home run, and thus his OPS is a perfect 5.000.

Buddy pitched in Japan for a couple of years before, so he knows the league and the country, as well as how much more money a fringe player can make over there.

Teamed up with such greats as Jason Botts and Terrmel Sledge.
Maybe he can put in a good word for the Braves with Yu Darvish.

The team name made me think it was a joke. But now it makes the deal seem even better.
