Braves interested in Willingham
Hmmm...if he's healthy, I wouldn't be opposed to him. However, Willingham is a horrible in the field and often looks like a goofball when running down fly balls. I guess he can actually run tho...unlike GA and his professional gliding.
Thoughts?

Seems nice
1. McLouth/Diaz LF
2. Prado 2B
3. Chipper 3B
4. Cameron CF
5. McCann C
6. Escobar SS
7. LaRoche 1B
8. Heyward(Diaz) RF
Lacks that ‘big bat’ but is a deep lineup with plenty of power of power in the 7-8 spots. That defense would be pretty dang good as well in support of our pitching staff.

That good defense is exactly the reason I’d trade in a few homeruns to take Cameron over Uggla. Cameron is not a superstar, but he’s right-handed with power, and having him in center and shifting Nate to left upgrades two positions defensively.

and in the second half...
flip laroche and mccann, when one gets hot and the other wears down from everyday catching.

Hard to get real excited about Willingham as our best option.
The item further down the page – from Friday night – re the Rays’ Upton, Crawford and Pena was actually of more interest to me, personally. It seems they aren’t exactly quashing the rumorama:
The Rays will listen to any proposal, but their primary goal this winter is improving their club for next season. They will retreat only if they receive a trade offer compelling enough for them to focus on the future.

I'll take him.
Wen he’s hot, he’s a doubles machineeee. I’d love to see him in atlanta.
Diaz
McLouth
Jones
Mac
Willingham
Esco
Laroche
Prado
I’d be fine with that lineup
MATT DIAZ IS THE F**K*NG MAN.
They made me change my signature...

I am not fine with any lineup that has Heap in the 4 hole and Adam LaRoche in the 7 hole.
If this were our roster, I would construct the lineup like this:
Diaz
Chipper
Escobar
LaRoche
Willingham
Heap
Prado
McLouth

Having said that, i know Chipper is not going to hit 2nd, so of course, he would stay 3 and Escobar would move to the 2 spot.

Esco became infinitely more valuable when we moved him to an RBI spot earlier this year. I still want to see him fifth or sixth. Id go Diaz, Prado, Chip, Roachie, McCann, Esco, Willingham McLouth in that scenario. But all things considered I’d much rather have Cameron batting seventh than Willingham.
