NAHWAL Final Standings
Yes, this is for the year, the last series, and the special last week of NAHWAL. First, I want to thank all of you for playing NAHWAL this year. After that I want to thank bigjoe for his half of the year, and to justincredubil02 for his time as chief and for allowing me to do this. Now, for standings, working our way from smallest to biggest.
Series that lasted from about September 20th to the end of the year:
brndn is your winner with 10 points, followed by mvhsbball with 8, and 10-4 with 7
congratulations to brndn for a(nother) series win
Your Special Last Week NAHWAL winner is NCChopper with 5 points, followed by mvhsbball and brndn with 4 points
congratulations to NCChopper for the special win.
As for the biggie, the yearly winner. For most of the year, we all could pinpoint who the best players were, and it showed in the standings. Towards the end of the year, it became a 2 horse race that came right down to the wire. So, without further ado, your yearly NAHWAL champion is.... brndn wih 86 points. Congratulations! As for the other horse, 10-4 came in a close second 1.5 points behind. Still, congratulations to brndn for the victory, and to everyone who played.
If anyone wants their yearly total, just ask and when I check, ill post for you.
Its been a great year, everyone, and being your chief for the last part has been awesome. I can't wait for next year so we can do this all over agian

Nice job, GBNY!
Just let the record show that I was running away with this thing before getting it dumped in my lap!
:)

thanks, and that is true, you were running away with back to back 13 point months (which is only good for like 5th highest for a month total btw)

Shut your dirty whorish mouth!

thanks!
your name is awesome, by the way. i’m a spanish junkie.
+1
i have to be honest, I just realized your name is most likely short for brendan… let the comments come.

very nice!
to the letter, brandon… but you basically nailed it.
Congratulations to BRNDN - the YEARLY CHAMP!
The fact I won the “Special Last Week of NAHWAL” comes as quite a shocker and a testament to what pure luck can do for ya. :-)
A tip of the cap to the consistent NAHWAL winner brdnn and showing us all what to strive for.
consistent... yep.
i missed several games, but probably not nearly as many as some of you.
i think this is one of those situations where i won something because, well, business was slow and my summer sort of blew.
brndn kicked some 10-4 ass!

not so much, it was neck and neck down the wire but brndn pulled out some monster games earlier to close up the title

I know…I am just joshing a bit – trying to stir the pot…lol

1.5 points?!!
I demand a recount! I feel some Iran-like election results going on here.

How many points was I off?
I know I finished in the top 3 or 4 in quite a few weeks earlier this season. I think my downfall was I missed some games b/c of the time difference (I don’t really think about entering NAHWAL when a game starts at 10am).

sorry,
you finished with 49 points which is at least 7th, but probably higher. I’m not kidding, brndn and 10-4 literally ran away with NAHWAL after like August. But, feel good because you had a monster August with 24 points
(Yunel is still the Queen of Hearts)
Wow!
So close… if I had realized how close, I probably would have crumbled under the pressure down the stretch and disappeared from the scene only to be discovered some years later in a small town teaching kids how to play NAHWAL to pay rent, trying to forget about that time I choked in ’09.
Thanks to bigjoe, justin and the New York Jew for keeping this thing going; I realize it kept y’all insanely busy and it’s not like anyone’s even paying you. But as insignificant as NAHWAL may seem, it really does provide an extra “umph” for the games, especially when the Braves are treading through a slow stretch.
I hope everyone returns next year, as I’m looking to defend the title…
just like the Braves will do to the Phillies in 2010
im going to de-thrown you from your title!

Where did I end up?
I felt like I would score like 10 points in like 3 days, and then not score any for like 3 weeks
again, sorry about being so late
42 points, good for between 3rd-5th
(Yunel is still the Queen of Hearts)
same, sorry about being so late
27 points, which cracks the top ten
