Troy Polamalu a Brave?

When Troy was a high school student in Oregon when Atlanta Braves Scout Kurt Kemp was looking at signing him. He had speed, closed every gap, his swing was great, and he contacted the ball unusually good. Could you imagine Polamalu in CF? Wow that would be something to see! (maybe we should sign him) *kidding, but would be pretty cool, hey we did that with Deon Sanders? Just throwing that out there.

We had somewhat of the same thing with a player who decided between football or baseball in Jeff Francoeur, i think they both made the right choice (but you never know).

Speaking of football players, I’d still love to see Dennis Dixon come back and play for the Braves. The dude hit in the one hundreds in professional baseball after not having touched a bat in three years; that’s impressive. I guarantee I couldn’t hit in the one hundreds. I hate to see all his talent just hanging out on the sidelines with the Steelers. I mean, I think it’s cool he’s gonna get a Super Bowl ring on Sunday, but his chances of playing anytime within the next five years are slim to none.

“I mean, I think it’s cool he’s gonna get a Super Bowl ring on Sunday”

That reminds me of when my Eagles friends said “I hope we play Pittsburgh in the super bowl instead of Baltimore.”

Well, they’re Eagles fans. They’re already delusional.

+1000

Although…the way they looked when they played Washington for the last time…who’da thunk it then that they would go as far as they did?

I was at that game, it was so much fun watching all the Eagles fans slink home in a stupor.

Michael Jordan couldn’t handle a real sport.

If they would have started him off in A ball and let him progress like a normal prospect, he would have succeeded.

I think it would’ve been interesting if he would’ve tried to become a 2 sport star, in the mold of Brian Jordan when he was a safety. But who knows if he could’ve hit a major league curveball?

It would be worth it

But really only if he kept the hair. Manny’s dreds can suck it.
