FAN APPREICATION

I WOULD LIKE TO SEE SOME TYPE OF TRANSPORTATION FROM THE LOTS TO THE GAME...

WITH THE ECO- BEING THE WAY THAT IT IS WE WOULD THINK & HOPE THE LEAGUE WOULD SO SOME FAN APPREICATION BY AT LEAST PROVIDING TRANSPORT TO THE GAME... ME AND 20 OTHER GUYS HAVE TO PARK AMOST 5 BLOCKS TO GET TO A GAME....

AND THIS YEAR SUMMER SUPPOSE TO BE HOTTER THAN LAST YEAR, AND WE ALL NOW WHAT THAT'S GOING TO FEEL LIKE... ESPECIALLY WITH THE HUMIDITY IN GEORGIA... TALK ABOUT EMPTY SEATS....

SO HOW ABOUT IT.... ONE FOR THE FANS!!!

This FanPost does not express the views or opinions of Talking Chop.

Eco-what?

Eco-nomy or Eco-friendly? Because yes, the economy does suck, but providing a shuttle from just the lots is not very eco-friendly, either.

Five blocks is nothing too. I voluntarily walk more than that because I go to 30+ games a season, regardless of heat, humidity or ticket prices, and need to cut costs somewhere. If you’ve got 20 other guys with you, and have a problem carpooling to the green lot ($12 divided amongst 4-5 people per car = peanuts), then you’ve got bigger problems other than the implications arisen from fear of walking five blocks.

No wonder nobody likes you, Tuttle... everything's a (Pujols) damn debate.

Round 2?

I guess I should be one to talk.
There's nights that I can't even walk.
There's days I couldn't give a fuck.
And in between is where I'm stuck.

All-right, I’ll let you post this, but please, end it. And who, in this day and age, writes in all caps?

As for your idea, perhaps it’s the laziness of some people, especially in the South, that makes them complain when they’re walking five blocks to see a baseball game. Get out and get some exercise, otherwise, take a cab and have them drop you off right beside the stadium.

by gondeee on Jan 27, 2009 10:17 AM EST reply actions

If you get to the game early enough, there are plenty of places to park along Hank Aaron Dr. that is right on the field, most only charge around $10 to park or park in one of the closer lots that the field provides. Sure, you’re gonna have to walk, but if you get there earlier enough, it’s not that bad find a parking place. Just about every time I’ve been we’ve parked close more often than not and the walking distance has not been bad.

Chicken Express?? Hmmmm…never heard of it, although we don’t have White Castle either. Side note: The last year that the Braves were on TBS, I purchased MLB Extra Innings package, and one day I was watching a game and I kept seeing this commercial for a place called Crystals. I was all excited because the food looked really good and I thought it was a new place about to open up.

About an hour later I realized I was watching Turner South, I felt dumb and a little bit sad.

In a nutshell. But out west, you have neither. Although there are times when I would kill for some El Pollo Loco or Rubio’s.

With the fanfare it got, you’d think we were getting a Major League sports franchise, or we they were moving the state capitol there.

Throwing down

Bojangles > Popeyes > Church’s > KFC

Zaxby’s and Chic-Fil-A don’t count, they’re mostly sandwiches anyway.

Zaxby’s doesn’t make fried chicken with bones and/or dark meat. They don’t count.
