Around SBN: Dog Football! Which Breeds Are Best Suited For The Gridiron?

Arb. eligible figures have been announced and none have apparently agreed on anything yet.

Francoeur wants $3.95 mill, but was offered $2.8, which he more likely deserves. KJ wants $3.3 mill, but was offered $2.35 mill. Kotchman wants $3.25 mill, but was offered $2.475 mill.

The fuck.

Why is the worst player of the 3 both asking for the most and getting offered the most? Maybe they’re trying to be generous and give him some back from the jersey/ticket sales, but offering Frenchy the most out of that group is retarded.

Check out some of the other arbitration figures. Anyone think FYF is worth more money than Conor Jackson or Andre Ethier?

3.95 million pesos maybe, but American dollars?

-1000 for being a dick.

Arbitration must be a horrible process for the players, hearing your employer talk about how you don’t deserve what you’re asking for.

Delusional

Frenchy has cast a pretty unfavorable shadow of himself over the FO after all the whining he did during his demotion, and this arbitration hearing won’t help. I’ll be surprised if he doesn’t outright lose this case, which will probably make the relationship more “dampered.”

This is probably turning into an unnecessary headache for the Braves’ suits, especially considering he was (still could be?) pegged as the future face of the franchise.

I can hear the whining now!

According to Fangraphs

Frenchy still owes the Braves about $6.5 million for last year.
