Why no comments?

Gondee posted a picture of Obama on the site and closed it for comments? I know that your the leader of the blog and all, but can we not express ourselves? Sorry, if I offended anyone, but I wanted to be able to speak my mind and views as well. [edited for content.]

Go AMERICA

[note from gondeee:  first of all, it's three e's in gondeee; second, i don't make a habit of editing posts, but I don't want any opinions being thrown around. If you feel you need to express your political views, please find a political blog. I know some may say it's not fair that I can post about politics but others can't, well, this is the extremely rare post related to politics and it doesn't express too many opinions (if any). I try to be careful not to throw my ideology in anyone's face.]

Couldn’t have said it better myself. I hope he is the best President we have ever had.

The reason is so that a political or racial argument doesn’t start. No matter what your leanings are keep them to yourself

Ahhh

Yeah, I guess I understand. I feel like we should all be able to talk in a civilized manner, but some people get out of hand talking about things such as this, and everyone’s 10 feet tall and bullet proof when typing on a computer screen. Sorry if I cause any negative reactions.

I totally agree we should all be able to act civilized but the fact is that someone would say something that would offend someone else.

jack dein is on top of it. there’s no political, racial, or religious talk on this sports blog, but every once in a while I think a post like the one on the front page is warranted.

I’ll be closing the comments on this post now, sorry.
