Nats @ Braves Open Thread: Game 2

Washington Nationals at Atlanta Braves, Sep 5, 2008 7:35 PM EDT

Great game last night! Good to see one of our young pitchers do well, after all, every one of our starting pitchers is young and inexperienced (I consider Hampton a rookie again since he almost qualified for Hall of Fame voting while he was on the DL). Our most experienced pitcher toes the rubber tonight... and he's still a rookie.

JJ…not starting off well.

But...

the ump apparently doesn’t understand K-zone.

You’re welcome! Glad to get feedback. I was only able to post a few because it was such a long game, and I had to get up and drive a couple hundred miles the next morning, then was without internet over the weekend.

It’s something I really enjoy and I hope it brings some nuances of the game to people who might not have the convenience or ability to get to them. Sigh. I WISH it was my full time job!
