Braves Rookie Hazing 2008
So taking a walk out back of the Ted after the final home game on Sunday is not stalkerish at all. It's just saying "bye", "have a great road trip" and "we love ya....ah, er, boys?!" Wearing dresses did seem to give them an advantage in speeding up the security "strip" search all the players, broadcasters and staff were subjected to in front of the crowd. They all seemed quite good natured about it, blowing kisses and curtsying. We even got a slight mooning from Jair.

Here's that last one...
Dude
Gonzalez looks like a straight-up Yankee in that get-up.
No wonder nobody likes you, Tuttle... everything's a (Pujols) damn debate.
I'm glad
That the Braves DO haze rookies. Even if it’s at that point in the year where nobody gives a damn. Sometimes it feels like the Braves don’t do anything fun or quirky, or get into fights, because they’re so wrapped up in “being classy” or “professional.”
Based on the public eye, Braves rookies seem to have it easy; granted, we don’t know what goes on behind the scenes, but look at some other teams who make their rookies host a pre-season karaoke show, dress their players up as Hooters girls, or at least, make rookies gofer around others players’ stuff in pink Barbie or Hello Kitty backpacks in public.

In addition to these lovely pictures that Lizziebeth so generously shared, I linked to a few more on Braves Love, ones from a different photographer. :)
love it
good fun and good pics!
"Have you ever had your heart broken?"
"Yeah, when we lost the pennant in '87."
The Media Entrance in the back...
If you consider the brick facade ticket window area of the Ted the front, then the exact opposite side – Bill Lucas Drive. If I remember correctly, it actually has “Media Entrance” over the recessed doorway, and it’s closer to Pollard Blvd./Washington St. than the players’ parking lot, which is near Hank Aaron Dr. They have barriers set up for crowd control, and the buses (2) are sitting there waiting, so it’s not too hard to miss.
HAHAHAHA
Thanks for sharing! I love it! Jair looks like he’s the most “convincing.” I bet there’s street hookers who look worse.
Lilli looks pretty close to a 12 year old girl.
Gonzo looks absolutely sharp. Wow he should do movies if that baseball thing doesn’t work out.
Kotchman.
This is the only shot that I got of Casey. It’s better than nothing, though. ;)

There is a bigger, un-doctored version, but it was kind of dark, so I brightened it some and cropped it. And I don’t know if you saw him when he looked over at everyone, but he looked a bit scared. :(
