He had a leash
About the length of a delinquent child on one of those child-restraints. Haven’t seen Bobby move so fast since he got tossed by that AAA umpire.

THEY’RE STARTING JURRJENS ON THE LAST GAME OF THE SEASON

Ugh really?
…..man I don’t know where to even start with that…

It would be awesome
If they did the things we discussed earlier this year, and had someone pitch innings 1-4, and then put Jurrjens in to be the pitcher of record with the 5th rolls around if we have a lead of some sort for 1-2 innings. Perhaps he could recoup some of the wins that he was denied by poor run support all through the first half of the season.
But that’s unconventional bush league baseball, so we’ll never see anything like that, but it’s gotta be okay at least now, to make some outlandish wishes.

Oh...
I would give up a kidney for Julian Tavarez to fight Shane Victorino.

Just saw Matty on the field! Looked at the roster and he is active. I’d love to see him get an AB,

Update:
Mets are losing and the Brewers are winning. I couldn’t be happier.

THE SECRET
Apparently, angry, emotional Julian Tavarez throws effective pitches that slice the corners with tons of movement. He should get pissed off more often.

Dos Equis Smoltzie, for I am going to partake in a cold one in honor of this very satisfying win that throws a small wrench into the National League playoff situation.

great article about hank aaron and a brewing feud with cox. verrrrry interesting stuff that makes me think the old man needs to tear up that extension, ASAP

I think it makes Hank look like an a-hole
He’s too old to go around bitching about stuff that happened in 1990 – especially when none of it is relevant. He said something about talking to Van Poppel’s father to find out whether he would sign. With all due respect to Hank, but ANYONE can ask that question and relay the answer. He wants a pat on the back because he remembered a simple conversation?

I’m not sure I understand Hank’s beef. Does he think Bobby’s taking credit for the decision to draft Chipper, because of his comment about telling Chipper what "we did to sign you". If so, that makes no sense, because he said "we", as in "the organization", not as in "me". I may just be reading the whole thing wrong

Ah, efffff
I just realized that I have to be out of town the next few days and won’t get to post with you guys for the last games.
Waaaaah!
Now I really feel like beating the everloving crap outta someone!

If out of town means Philadelphia you could go find Victorino yourself…
Just a thought
