Phils @ Braves Open Thread: Game 1
Philadelphia Phillies at Atlanta Braves, Sep 16, 2008 7:10 PM EDT
Our best rookie pitcher takes the mound tonight against the oldest player in baseball. James Parr was born in the same year that Jamie Moyer made his major league debut... that's pretty awesome.
The Braves have not done well against the Phillies this year, going 2-and-10 against them, including 0-and-6 at Turner Field.
NL Batting Race:
Chipper Jones - .365
Albert Pujols - .360

Following the Braves...one long hard drink at a time.
I love this
It looks like a school bus to me, and my sister is a school bus driver…got to send it to her.
My dream..
would be for both the Phillies and the Mets fall apart so badly that the Brewers take the wild card and the Marlins take the division.
pujols’s is 0/3 tonight. chipper’s lead is up to EIGHT POINTS!!!

Why would they bring up the fact that Utley hasn't homered since Aug 22?
And it almost went out. Shut your piehole Boog.
BLANCO, WTF!!!!
Lidge is having trouble finding the zone and he swings at the first pitch.
Dear Pujols
All I want this year is for the Braves to win ONE game against the Phillies at home this season. Just one.
No wonder nobody likes you, Tuttle... everything's a (Pujols) damn debate.
