Braves @ Snakes: Game 1
Atlanta Braves at Arizona Diamondbacks, Aug 7, 2008 9:40 PM EDT
And so we begin a four-game series against the Western Division leading Arizona Diamondbacks. There just might be some good pitching in this series. Both Haren and Webb will throw for the D-Backs, and Jurrjens and the resurgent Mike Hampton will toe the mound for the Braves, as well as the guy with the best ERA of any of these pitchers, Jorge Campillo (2.58). But tonight we get Charlie Morton, coming off one of his best starts of his brief major league career last Saturday.

Here's how...
From UrologyHealth.org:
“Suspended in the scrotum, a skin pouch below the penis, each testicle is surrounded by the tunica albuginea, a tough, fibrous covering that often takes the hit of trauma to the gland. Like the shell of an egg, it can be easily “fractured” or shattered when confronted by a blunt or violent force. “

Curt Schilling exploding about how it was “unprofessional”.
A hitter getting on base, which is, you know, HIS JOB. Totally unprofessional.

Good game tonight, though I didn’t see a lick of it. I really like Morton’s line, and judging from what I read, he looked good doing it too. Under 100 pitches is nice. Couple more starts like this and I think we can pencil him in to the #5 slot next year (at least).
Let’s sweep the snakes. We need some kind of good news.
