Holy...
See what happens when you’re not technically astute and you’re trying to play royhobbs (doctor an image)…I totally missed that we scored.
But now they have, so….CRAP.
Lilbum...
Nice that they know how to check their facts and spelling in the nations capital…it’s LilBURN, dumbasses.
I wish SS would stop with the GA football commercial
or at least take the guy with the effed up eyes out. That’s just not right. Besides being just stupid.
It’s really not Dessens’ fault that he got hammered in this game. What other manager would put him in the 8th inning of a game to hold a 1 run lead and set it up for Gonzo? Only one! I think Bobby Cox is the perfect manager to take us to the 4th draft pick overall. He actually looks like he strategizes to LOSE the ball game. Which at this point is alright with me if we get a higher draft. It will be tough to watch the Braves next year with Cox at the helm again. Maybe he can continue that 28 straight 1 run losses on the road streak that will surely carry over to next year.
it is dessens’s fault, because he’s not a very good pitcher. bobby has no live arms left. dessens has thrown 1 inning on the season. why NOT put him in the game so you don’t blow someone else’s arm out before the end of the year?

Who’s fault is it that Boyer leads the majors in appearances and Ohman is second? If Bobby Cox was smart(yea right) he wouldn’t use pitchers he may need the next day in blowouts as he frequently does. This is the reason why his relievers are out of gas at the end of the season. I’ve seen too many games where the game is decided by more than 8 runs but Ohman or Acosta are out there when Resop was sitting by. (obviously earlier in the season) Just to make my point. He uses the same relievers whether it’s a blow-out or a close game. And that’s not the least of Cox’s bad calls. I hope we don’t sign or trade for anybody next year because Cox will still be there managing the team to the bottom.
i’m not saying bobby is great, but i’m not also saying “ELMER DESSENS GOT A BAD RAP TODAY, IT WASN’T HIS FAULT” like you’re saying.

I don’t want to see a washed up pitcher who was released by every organization, including the Pirates in spring training this year in that type of situation. Unless of course we are trying to lose. Then I don’t have any problems using Dessens in that situation. He still had to use Ohman to finish the inning. What was the point of that??? I would say Cox is becoming senile, but he’s never been a good strategist, but know it’s just becoming laughable.
yeah...
he’s got such a terrible history of his teams never winning the division or anything….just lucked into that 14 in a row thing …plus that whole #4 all-time wins as a manager…just a statistical anomaly, I’m sure..yeah…he sucks…
I blame Frank Wren
What an idiot. Elmer Dessens. Really?? I’m surprised we have won this many games this year.
How about...
that stupid trade this past winter, you know, the one where we traded our STARTING shortstop, who hit really well last year, for two prospects…that Jar-Jar guy? What a dillweed.
oh, you mean the trade that schuerholz lined up before the season and just left the papers for wren to sign?
