Julio Teheran Makes Start

Julio Teheran made hit first start in forever tonight going two perfect innings while striking out 3. He was recovering from shoulder soreness up until recently and it looks like the braves are going to be extra cautious with him and limit his innings. He was described by scouts as having one of the best arms hes ever seen. He is a true gem prospect. Hopefully he can avoid the injury bug down the road and realize his potential.

this and the jacob thompson news make me very happy.
also, i think a lot of these super young guys struggle with injuries out of the gate. i’m not too worried about the injuries.

julio got SHELLED tonight. 1.2, 3 H, 4 ER, 2 BB, but he did have 4 K. he also hit a guy. yeesh.
