In all my life..

I have never seen such bad luck on one team. Granted the season has been over for awhile, but I can't remember a team with so many injuries, players not playing to their full ability, errors, and now bereavement. If I didn't know better I would say someone put a curse on us. Hopefully next year we can shake some of this terrible plague and have a great season. I wonder though, should managers, coaches, and trainers be held accountable for any of this? Your thoughts?

i think they should be REWARDED if we somehow get a top 3 pick.

Hmmm

How about a series of fines for good play? Maybe a $30,000 bonus to the guy voted Least Valuable Player.

I got the Major League reference… in case no one else did

"We win today, that's two in a row... if we win tomorrow, that's called a winning streak. It has happened before..."

Honestly

You should all count your blessings. I am a college student and live with my brother who is a MASSIVE Mets fan. I have to deal with this stuff EVERY DAY. Be thankful you’re not in my position.

So now we know how the fans of half the teams in the major leagues have felt for the last 16 years.

Be thankful...

…that we’re not Nationals fans.

I would venture a guess...

…that over the last 18 years we have been cursed jillions of times, mostly by Mets and Phillies fans, but with some Giants, Expos, Pirates, Dodgers, and other assorted fans mixed in there as well. If you believe in that sort of thing, I guess the cumulative effect is now overpowering us. It was an amazing stretch that I don’t think will ever be duplicated, brought about by great pitching, good fundamentals, timely hitting, and, yes, good luck and good health. During all of it, I kept thinking I was dreaming, because it was such a change from what I was used to as a Braves fan. It seems I’m awake from the dream now, but I remain hopeful that better days are down the road. Also, I’m still proud to be a Braves fan, because they are my team through good and bad.
