CC vs. Braves Open Thread: Do We Stand a Chance?

Milwaukee Brewers at Atlanta Braves, Aug 2, 2008 3:55 PM EDT

Seriously, seriously, we have Omar Infante batting cleanup! Here is the lineup:

Blanco
Prado
Esco
Infante
Kotchman
Frenchy
Scooter
Sammy
Charlie

I would call this the Braves B-Team. But hey, you never know, this is baseball, and anyone can win on any given day. Oh, Ben Sheets pitches tomorrow, so if you didn't get any runs last night and you don't get any runs today, then it only gets harder.

While that would be nice

I don’t need for the Braves to win. I would like to see some improvement.

The pitchers need to do a better job cause the Braves have been giving up a ton of runs lately. Hopefully some players like Frenchy can start getting hot and ending the year on a high note and take that confidence into next year if that is possible.

Just need our players to step up and not worry about the Tex trade or whatever else might be mentally blocking them. Go out, have fun, and work hard. That’s what I want to see.

Morton...

I can only get Gamecast for today’s game…but it looks like Charlie is just pounding the strike zone…with success!

4 posts? 4 fucking posts? jesus christ guys, you let me down.

morton pitched spectacularly, and you CANNOT hold today’s game against him at all. the horrid offense we once again trotted out was more to blame for anything. yechhhhh

Yeah, weather was really nice here today so I was out doing stuff. So, no posts from me. But was shocked to see only 4…that has to be an all time low.
