Francoeur's sabbatical lasts three days
Francoeur rejoining Braves in L.A.
"It had everything to do with the four hits he had yesterday and seven hits he had in three days and starting to relax," Braves general manager Frank Wren said Monday. "It was not until we had our call with the coaches this morning we had made the decision. It was not predicated on injuries at all. When we felt like he was comfortable swinging the bat and looking like his old self, we wanted to bring him back."

"Sabbatical"
What is he, Ricky Williams?
No wonder nobody likes you, Tuttle... everything's a (Pujols) damn debate.

There should be no negative connotations to the word “sabbatical.”

I know what “sabbatical” means, it’s just that it was the same term used by Ricky Williams when he decided to retire at 27 and get baked for three years, and I find it amusing that you used to the same term to describe Francoeur’s forceful purgatory.

unless
sabbatical means a period of time causing big league hitters to forget that frenchy is an easy out as long as you don’t throw his a fastball in the zone, then i’m not especially excited.

Frenchy is back and let him stay and play period their is nobody better that we have in our farm system that can put up the numbers he can put up. Maybe Jason Heyward at some point way down the line, but for now frenchy gives us the best chance to win.
