Happy Fourth of July everyone. In all likelihood I am already in the mountains of North Carolina with the famdamily. Thankfully this new SBN blogging platform allows us to schedule posts, which means for the weekend everything is already pre-written... sort of makes it hard to talk about last night's game.
Anyway, maybe we can have a better series against the Astros than we did against Philly.

Hopefully the lineup will score atleast 6 runs tonight. It seems like it’s been atleast two months since that has happened.

Trying to remember the last time we
scored first ~ ( waited until we did so as not to jinx it) !!! I bet Tex would have sacrificed his body for that run if necessary.

Where Damon crashed into the fence, the ball bounced out of his glove and stalled on the top of the fence for like 5 seconds then fell back in play?
The ball seriously just stopped on the top of the fence for a couple of seconds...
if it wouldn’t have been for the wall shaking because Damon smoked it, the ball probably would have stayed on there.
as far as i know, hudson has only played with escobar, tejada, and renteria. not exactly a trio of gold glovers

I’d do what my 70 yr old mother does…DVR it…and watch it skipping the ridiculous repetition of comerecials
My take on Boyer and Acosta
Live arms…and can attack the strike zone with full complements of pitchs…they can’t consistently throw to a batter’s weakness and make them swing…the miss horribly…snowballing on them
Great game
After nearly giving up after being swept by the Phils, we’re looking good and starting to get most of our guys back. All-Star game is still 8 games away!
