Craig Kimbrel in Rome
Craig Kimbrel made his Rome debut today and was, let me say, untouchable. He went 2.1 innings of hitless and walkless ball while striking out 5. He is quickly turning into our best relief prospect. He uses an upper 90's fastball from his 5'10 frame and a developing slider. Obviously something is working because he has been nothing short of dominant. If he keeps this up, we actually may see Kimbrel in the beach some time this year. He is 20 years old.

The Braves love those short pitchers that other teams overlook. That’s why our scouting department is as good as anybody’s.

Heat, Heat and more Heat
In that Rome Game it wasn’t fair for the opposing team they faced Cordier, Pruneda and Kimbrel all of those guys have mid to upper 90s FB! Pruneda has actually hit triple digits before and he’s only 19!
