I don’t know whether to laugh or cry at this shot, but thanks for sharing it regardless.
No wonder nobody likes you, Tuttle... everything's a (Pujols) damn debate.
I would love to know what is going through his head as he backs out of that parking spot, shifts into gear, and begins the journey to the next phase of his career.
Heck, I’d settle for just seeing the expression on his face.
I was at the game last night and a friend texted me the news, so I went to hang out at the overlook of the players parking lot to try and see him leave.
I watched him take BP with the club, then the rains came and the team retreated to the clubhouse, so he was obviously informed of the news then.
He was holding some papers and I’d really like to know what they were. I got a picture of him getting into his car, but it was blurry because I was a little ways away and I had to zoom in—he was walking quickly, too. I don’t think it’s a slap in the face to be traded, but clearly a player doesn’t want to hang around after the fact.
Tex waved to the security gate attendant and then rolled away.
It was kind of sad, but in Tex’s favorite words, “business is business.”

haha, I was thinking the same thing.
I guess I should be one to talk.
There's nights that I can't even walk.
There's days I couldn't give a fuck.
And in between is where I'm stuck.

Eh
The team parking lot is in plain sight from a very ordinary place in the park. It’s not like sdp had to go crawl into an air shaft and knock out a grate to take this photograph. Pretty much every player born and raised in Georgia drives a pickup truck or a Corvette, there are a couple Benz(es?) and the most conservative car I’ve seen there is either a Ford Escape Hybrid, or a Chrysler 300C.
Andruw Jones used to stroll in a little on the late side in a different silver Euro car every game. I saw an Aston Martin, a Rolls Royce, Lotus Exige, and a Mercedes McClaren, among his vast fleet.

Yes...
The view of players lot is very accessible from several parts of the park. I had heard he was traded and I wanted to see him leave. There are a few smoking areas that overlook that players lot and the walkways to the upper levels give a great view of the parking lot.
I’m not stalker.
