All Haters !

So for one I am sick and tried of all the whinning and complaining from most Braves fans this year.  The problems with most Braves fans is that they are not used to the Braves losing (unless you were a fan in 70's- "1990 season " and then of course I am not talking about you.  However you all want to be honest and open okay, we are having a below average season for the amount of money being paid out !  We have a pitching staff that gets no run support and really only has two guys that would be starting for other teams (Hudson & JJ). Injuries have hurt the Braves but it has hurt alot of clubs and that is making excuses and that is something that a real team doesn't do or stand for and I know the Braves don't just thought I would clear that up now.  Secondly our offense is way to streaky especially without a LF that hits for power once in a while not that I am slamming what Blanco has done out of the lead-off spot.  Lastly guys and older fans alike IT IS NOT THE 90"s anymore.   It has to happen sometime and you cannot be that dominate for that long without killing your farm system and after Frenchy and MCcann the really isn't a whole lot left, Schaffer and Heyward but that is about it.  Finally the Braves are not capable of or going to be able to sign or keep high priced talent anymore.  Yes they upped their payrole but hey look at the Rays, Marlins, D-backs and more spending money doesn't always equal success so we should dump older players slowly and rebuild with younger prospects even it is means not opting for Smoltz $12 million club opition this off-season and trading Chipper Jones to an American League team to be a DH ONLY IF HE IS WILLING CHIPPER WILL ULTIMATELY end up being our first baseman which is fine with me.

This message is not to make anyone mad, upset, etc... but merely stating the facts it is okay not to win the division every year, but we all got to see some of the best baseball moments ever.

Sid's slide, Three Aces - Maddux, Glavine, Smoltz, 14 str8 division titles and lastly a 95' world series winner plus Bobby Cox .

But time moves on and catches up with everyone and I believe it has caught up to the Atlanta Braves.

What is the point of this or any of your posts?

Who is whining?

“It is also not my fault that the Braves suck this year…THE TRUTH hurts !!!”

“It is never to early to think about the future and since the Bravos are going nowhere fast and they are a sinking ship that needs to dump all unecessary cargo and move forward before the season is out it is never to early to look at the off-season.”

“I am sorry to tell you all but the season is over as of now.”

It seems to me that you are the one who doesn’t understand what it is like to not be a dominating team. Sure we are underachieving this year by all accounts, but we’re only 6.5 games back. This is not insurmountable. So, what if we aren’t destined to win the WS this year? I’m going to enjoy the full season even if we are 16.5 GB. I am not going to post night-after-night about how we need to clean house and that we are a .500-team, and we suck, and the season is over. What is the point? You are quite welcome to give up on the team, and recall the glory days. I’m more content staying optimistic and looking forward to all the great baseball moments yet to come. If nothing else, let me stay delusional and think that we are not mathematically eliminated prior to the All-Star break.

I’m not sure why you feel the need to remind us all that it is no longer the 90s and “its okay not to win the division every year.” Maybe somebody needs to remind you. You are the one bringing up the nostalgia, and seem to be having a fit that we aren’t winning this season by posting trade rumors almost nightly, and tell “Braves Fans” how terrible our team is this year. We may have different views on things, which is fine, but if you have nothing more to add then its probably best to just stay quiet. I get it, you’ve given up on the year. The whole team sucks and Bobby needs to go too. I got it from your first post. Since you are ready to jump-ship on the season, go on and do it. We’ll catch back up with you next year, or on the Cubs or Phillies or Rays blog, since they seem to still be in the playoff race.

That is all.

Go Braves! All Braves of the past, the present, and the future.

ATTN ORIGINAL POSTER

The next time you have an urge to go off on a rant like this one, don’t. And if I do recall correctly you’re the one giving up on the season and making countless amounts of “HOW SHOULD WE TRADE TEX??? I LIKE THE IDEA OF BARRY ZITO TO THE BRAVES AND GIVING THE YANKEES BACK TEX + CHIPPER + SORIANO + MCCANN + $10,000 CASH!”

Ok… I over exaggerated on that last part but, seriously, go back and read through your own posts before you begin to criticize the other guys here.

i thought u were calling him Hank Aaron, which didn’t make sense Or maybe you were a crazy Marlins broadcaster and decide to deface the nickname of the greatest player of all time by calling a LF, with good pop, and horrible defensive abilities, and the inability to hit for a decent avg, THE HAMMER (JOSH WILLINGHAM)

"We win today, that's two in a row... if we win tomorrow, that's called a winning streak. It has happened before..."

I thought

You were saying I brought down the Hammer.

Oh Chop-Chop.

I think you might be right. Does anyone else find it hard to read a post that is essentially a run-on sentence? How about some paragraphs with some spaces between them.

I know it's "only spring training," but is it time to be concerned about McLouth?
