Sabernomics.
It's a painfully slow day at work today, so I've already ran out of things to read from my normal FantasyBaseball/TalkingChop/FireJoeMorgan/Deadspin/WhateverVideoGameI'mPlaying rotation. I decided to take a look at some of the links that TC has to offer. The first one I clicked on was good old Sabernomics...it's been a while since I've visited. The first thing I noticed was that the newest post was about Francoeur. And the next was. And the next was. Is the person who runs that site a Braves fan? Either way, if you're as bored as I am you may want to check it out.
This FanPost does not express the views or opinions of Talking Chop.

Hey...
..He taught economics here at Sewanee up until a couple of years ago. I didn’t know him until about a month before he left. I talked to him once about baseball, and I did get the impression the Braves are his team. I didn’t know at the time about his website, although I do remember a lecture he gave once on the whole Moneyball thing.
i believe so
I’ve visited his site for a while as well. He used to write primarily about the Braves, but since he wrote his book, the Baseball Economist, he’s been writing more frequently about other topics, particularly those related to the financial aspect of the game.
Yes he is a braves fan.
He posts here and Braves Journal with some regularity. Though, I haven’t seen him post here in awhile.
He’s been writing some interesting posts about FYF recently, mostly about FYF’s whining about being demoted. He also wrote some interesting stuff about the Gwinnet Braves stadium deal and how the Braves basically raped and pillaged the County of Gwinnet.
