Although...

I would have opted for Anderson in CF and Blanco in LF. Am I out of line in thinking so?

by jug on Jun 7, 2008 6:42 PM EDT up reply actions

Blanco's defense

just hasn’t given me too much confidence thus far. I don’t think he lacks talent, just experience. Anderson doesn’t have much more, but so far hasn’t given me any reason not to trust him.

by jug on Jun 7, 2008 6:51 PM EDT up reply actions

yeah, i think blanco is center is a mistake…much more ground for him to cover

by bigjoe on Jun 7, 2008 6:52 PM EDT up reply actions

werth is back? shit, i remember him doing some damage up in philly

by bigjoe on Jun 7, 2008 6:52 PM EDT reply actions

OH THANK GOD, SKIP CARAY ON PEACHTREE

its OK, we need you to keep us sane

by bigjoe on Jun 7, 2008 7:08 PM EDT up reply actions

If it gets bad quick...

I’m confident it won’t, but bourbon will be deemed necessary.

by jug on Jun 7, 2008 7:10 PM EDT up reply actions

yeah, i don’t touch liquor. because when joe touches liquor…BAD THINGS HAPPEN.

by bigjoe on Jun 7, 2008 7:10 PM EDT up reply actions

Oh wow...

is SKIP CARAY really calling the game on PTV tonight? wow, what a treat!

by jug on Jun 7, 2008 7:02 PM EDT reply actions

oh no, skip throwing it to JJ. i imagine thinly veiled insults going all night

by bigjoe on Jun 7, 2008 7:04 PM EDT reply actions

man, if i was at the park for jerseys off our back…i’d PAY BIG to get one of resop’s old jerseys

by bigjoe on Jun 7, 2008 7:07 PM EDT reply actions

Is peachtree net under security restrictions?

No braves broadcast on Extra Innings for some reason, although we can enjoy an exciting WNBA matchup between Houston and Indiana!

by Hot Cup Joe on Jun 7, 2008 7:11 PM EDT reply actions

Women's Pro basketball

It’s actually sorta interesting – a surprising number of the players are wearing lipstick!

by Hot Cup Joe on Jun 7, 2008 7:13 PM EDT up reply actions

hmmm

never heard of it. Do men play professional basketball? I thought it was only a college sport.

by jug on Jun 7, 2008 7:15 PM EDT up reply actions

Yes

Men do play professional basketball. It’s kinda like the college version, only more scoring.

by WienerDog on Jun 7, 2008 7:35 PM EDT up reply actions

oh, interesting.

I might have to look into this professional basketball thing. I love me some college bball.

by jug on Jun 7, 2008 7:36 PM EDT up reply actions

Man

I love me some skip caray.

by jug on Jun 7, 2008 7:12 PM EDT reply actions

Nice start for Jo-Jo

by frozen rope on Jun 7, 2008 7:14 PM EDT reply actions

And a very professionally executed

pick & roll bu the gals in red – i’m still a little unclear which team is which

by Hot Cup Joe on Jun 7, 2008 7:17 PM EDT up reply actions

JJR needs to keep rolling along just like that. we’ll be fine

by bigjoe on Jun 7, 2008 7:16 PM EDT reply actions

ooh

I hear motley crue’s kickstart my heart playing at the ted…

ha ha, yes you did…

by Lizziebeth on Jun 7, 2008 11:05 PM EDT up reply actions

first pitch swinging. Yunel never does that…

but, it worked out! he’s on base!

it appears my feed is VERRRRRRRRRRRRRY slow

by bigjoe on Jun 7, 2008 7:18 PM EDT up reply actions

by frozen rope on Jun 7, 2008 7:18 PM EDT up reply actions

thats how you take care of an error

by bigjoe on Jun 7, 2008 7:20 PM EDT reply actions

and thats how you attempt to redeem yourself ATJ

yup

you are waaaaaaay behind me.

by jug on Jun 7, 2008 7:23 PM EDT reply actions

Indiana Fever taking charge in this titanic WNBA matchup

on 3 successive threes. Hey, this liveblogging thing is entertaining…to me at least. I’m not totally in favor of Indiana Fever as a nickname, however – has a certain std aura, no?

by Hot Cup Joe on Jun 7, 2008 7:23 PM EDT reply actions

Liveblogging is fun. I’ve done it before at conferences I’ve attended. Keep us updated.

No MLB EI

See, last night I said I’d stay away. I’m too weak but have no choice…dammit. I guess I’ll watch the Fish lose (hopefully).

by WienerDog on Jun 7, 2008 7:34 PM EDT reply actions

Just went through the channels again

and still can’t find the braves on EI. Meanwhile, it’s 26-20 for the fever blisters after 1 in our WNBA matchup. Crowd is definitley larger than the last few hawks games i attended….

by Hot Cup Joe on Jun 7, 2008 7:34 PM EDT reply actions

I think

This is the 3rd time this season a Braves game is not on EI. Sucks.

by WienerDog on Jun 7, 2008 7:37 PM EDT up reply actions

why wouldn't it be?

bet you don’t pay enough for EI. That must be it…

by jug on Jun 7, 2008 7:38 PM EDT up reply actions

what I mean is

its ridiculous. it costs big money just to be able to watch your team play. And now, you’ve paid but can’t see them!

by jug on Jun 7, 2008 7:40 PM EDT up reply actions

I know

But what’s a fan to do? I’ll pay the money, no problem. MLB likes money, no?

by WienerDog on Jun 7, 2008 7:42 PM EDT up reply actions

Nothing!

You’re powerless! It pisses me off! Freakin’ way to alienate your fans MLB!

by jug on Jun 7, 2008 7:43 PM EDT up reply actions

It was worse b4 hockey and nba were over

they allocate a certain number of channels for all the pkgs, and some nights they just would arbitrarily drop the braves. Surprisingly, no refund offerred!

by Hot Cup Joe on Jun 7, 2008 7:44 PM EDT up reply actions

's ok

i’m hooked on the wnba matchup now. Nickname update – it’s the houston comets, and their coach looks like kevin loughery’s first wife.

by Hot Cup Joe on Jun 7, 2008 7:39 PM EDT up reply actions

I thought

You were kidding. You’re actually watching that?

by WienerDog on Jun 7, 2008 7:39 PM EDT up reply actions

“he has been struggling”

why is the crowd even cheering for him? i’d be throwing bottles

by bigjoe on Jun 7, 2008 7:42 PM EDT reply actions

awesome, productive at bat from francoeur. he’s doing so fucking bad i’m not even gonna call him frenchy anymore. what a disgrace.

by bigjoe on Jun 7, 2008 7:43 PM EDT reply actions

But let's remember

He can catch easy fly balls. Some of our players have probelms with that…

by WienerDog on Jun 7, 2008 7:43 PM EDT reply actions

at least kelly isn’t hovering at the lemke line

by bigjoe on Jun 7, 2008 7:45 PM EDT up reply actions

Anderson

Looks good at the plate, AGAIN!

by jug on Jun 7, 2008 7:45 PM EDT reply actions

how do you send andy down when diaz/kotsay come back?

by bigjoe on Jun 7, 2008 7:46 PM EDT reply actions

wow.

that was terrible. Never seen a Vidro quite like that before.

by jug on Jun 7, 2008 7:47 PM EDT reply actions

this is terrible so far

So many wasted chances.

How about this idea: Bench Francoeur, let Anderson bat leadoff? Couldn’t be much worse than Escobar or Johnson, who I like as hitters but they aren’t leadoff guys.

by son.of.sourman on Jun 7, 2008 7:50 PM EDT reply actions

I think

Jeff needs another day off or so. When Kotsay is healthy, there is a real argument against him being in the lineup. However, nobody has as strong as an arm as Jeff, so putting Anderson or Blanco in RF is a defensive liability.

by jug on Jun 7, 2008 7:52 PM EDT up reply actions

i used to think that, but 9 LOB is looking like a bigger offensive liability.

by son.of.sourman on Jun 7, 2008 7:54 PM EDT up reply actions

yeah

I know… thats awful.

by jug on Jun 7, 2008 7:56 PM EDT up reply actions

right now

I like anderson over blanco…but blanco could do well as a LO. I don’t like Escobar batting leadoff, since he’s a perfect 2nd batter.

by jug on Jun 7, 2008 7:54 PM EDT up reply actions

WNBA update

It’s the fever by 14 at the half. Cute variation on the sideline reprter thing – they have these hunky himbos doing the interviews with the coaches. Player on the Houston bench looks suspiciously like tyron lue.

by Hot Cup Joe on Jun 7, 2008 7:58 PM EDT reply actions

is it just me or..

have teams been pitching around chip and tex, and getting away with it b/c frenchy and the guys before them (Kelly & and Escy) aren’t doing anyting?

Still no score...bottom of 4

Jo Jo plunked Utley (smile), Chipper stole another base after walking…Tex and McCann haven’t done anything yet

well

ruiz solo HR. JoJo was doing so well too.

by jug on Jun 7, 2008 8:22 PM EDT reply actions

ruiz? fucking REALLY?

by bigjoe on Jun 7, 2008 8:23 PM EDT up reply actions

honestly

we should be up. bad baserunning and some other sloppiness lost us a couple of runs in first couple of innings.

by son.of.sourman on Jun 7, 2008 8:29 PM EDT up reply actions

hard to win

when you only have 1 hit in the game.

by jug on Jun 7, 2008 8:33 PM EDT up reply actions

Jo Jo's..

hit the ball hard twice with nothing to show for it

by OntheGo on Jun 7, 2008 8:30 PM EDT reply actions

this is killing me

i’ve watched this philly line up just kill really good starting pitching. and then huddy and jo jo, boyer and others come in here and just really grind out some quality innings but get let down by just bad offense and sloppy defense. this is really brutal to watch

by son.of.sourman on Jun 7, 2008 8:32 PM EDT reply actions

come the FUCK ON GUYS, its KYLE KENDRICK

Sounds like

I should be glad the game isn’t on EI.

by WienerDog on Jun 7, 2008 8:39 PM EDT reply actions

LARRY WAYNE JONES JUNIOR IS MY HEEEEEEEERO

by bigjoe on Jun 7, 2008 8:47 PM EDT reply actions

fuuuuuuuuuuck. dammit

by bigjoe on Jun 7, 2008 8:49 PM EDT reply actions

have him & chipper gone back to back AT ALL this year?

by bigjoe on Jun 7, 2008 8:49 PM EDT reply actions

FYF!

Actually got on base and swung the bat well!

by jug on Jun 7, 2008 8:51 PM EDT reply actions

the heat

is getting to us all. or the moon is full. or something.

by WienerDog on Jun 7, 2008 8:51 PM EDT up reply actions

i'm shocked and relieved

but here’s a question: who is more of an albatross to their right right now, frenchy or ryan howard?

by son.of.sourman on Jun 7, 2008 8:52 PM EDT up reply actions

francoeur, because at least howard walks

by bigjoe on Jun 7, 2008 8:53 PM EDT up reply actions

i'd say howard

Because the expectation was higher?

by WienerDog on Jun 7, 2008 8:53 PM EDT up reply actions

How many

RBIs does Howard have and does FYF? Compare LOB for each.

My guess is FYF. I know Howard has more RBIs.

by jug on Jun 7, 2008 8:54 PM EDT up reply actions

howard;s OPS is like 45 points higher

by bigjoe on Jun 7, 2008 8:55 PM EDT up reply actions

francoeur: 5 GIDP, howard: 2 GIDP

by bigjoe on Jun 7, 2008 8:56 PM EDT up reply actions

weiner had a point

when he said expectations. it’s not like FYF bats cleanup.

by son.of.sourman on Jun 7, 2008 8:56 PM EDT up reply actions

but francoeur was expected to make a HUGE step up this season.

by bigjoe on Jun 7, 2008 8:57 PM EDT up reply actions

you're right

but the term “albatross” implies some frustration with what is expected. I’m just sayin’...

by WienerDog on Jun 7, 2008 8:56 PM EDT up reply actions

when kendrick goes bad, he goes bad QUICK

by bigjoe on Jun 7, 2008 8:51 PM EDT reply actions

mmmkay

Reyes is staying in to bat with bases loaded…I’ll trust you bobby.

by jug on Jun 7, 2008 8:56 PM EDT reply actions

Please

Stop trying to convince me Jo-Jo can hit. He obviously can’t, so just stop saying it already.

by jug on Jun 7, 2008 8:58 PM EDT up reply actions

jojo has thrown 83, and in 4 of the last 5, he’s thrown over 90…and he’s looked pretty good tonight, so i say keep him in, but have him on a short leash

by bigjoe on Jun 7, 2008 8:59 PM EDT up reply actions

w can all agree

that acost-us needs rest…and then some

by WienerDog on Jun 7, 2008 9:01 PM EDT up reply actions

He needs to rest

for several weeks…possible in Richmond

by jug on Jun 7, 2008 9:02 PM EDT up reply actions

ERA is now below the league average. horrendous. ROOKIE OF THE MONTH!!!!

by bigjoe on Jun 7, 2008 9:03 PM EDT up reply actions

All good points

but I was thinking you put in Nortony or somebody to try to drive in a run, regardless of his pitching. But, I don’t know…

by jug on Jun 7, 2008 9:01 PM EDT up reply actions

in hindsight

yeah with the bases loaded in a tie game, makes sense. even in just regular sight acutally

by son.of.sourman on Jun 7, 2008 9:05 PM EDT up reply actions

at least now we have the top of the lineup leading off.

by bigjoe on Jun 7, 2008 9:05 PM EDT up reply actions

all thumbs, baby

by bigjoe on Jun 7, 2008 9:02 PM EDT reply actions

“That doesn’t appear to be working.”

by jug on Jun 7, 2008 9:07 PM EDT reply actions

now THATS a quality start. good work JOJO

8?

Is this kid legit? Nice.

by WienerDog on Jun 7, 2008 9:08 PM EDT reply actions

i think the thing is…he got his feet wet last year, knew what to expect this year, fine tuned himself in the spring and april, and now is here ready to be a contributor. and so far, he’s doing exactly what we need him to do: pitch effectively, and eat innings. campillo & glavine only have half of that equation down.

by bigjoe on Jun 7, 2008 9:10 PM EDT up reply actions

i like yunel as a player

i tried like hell to trade for him in my roto league, but i just get the feeling that as a person, he’s a bit of a douche.

by son.of.sourman on Jun 7, 2008 9:10 PM EDT reply actions

how the fuck is romero doing this with a near even K:BB ratio, less than 1 K/IP, and an average at .250?

by bigjoe on Jun 7, 2008 9:27 PM EDT reply actions

I got to say

it was a gamble, but not necessarily a bad one. I mean, Jo-Jo was cruising and you figure he deserves a chance to get out of the inning. He walks Victorino, but thats no reason to think he cant’ get a Vidro from Utley.

by jug on Jun 7, 2008 9:28 PM EDT up reply actions

Someone please make it stop!!!!!!!

by jug on Jun 7, 2008 9:41 PM EDT up reply actions

Very well

I think these so called “spammers” are really disguise Phillies fans…Losers!! The best thing to come out of Philly was Rocky, and he had a slurred speech. Kinda like me, after half a shot of Tequila.

and philly cheesesteak sandwiches. But thats it. Nothing else.

by jug on Jun 7, 2008 9:49 PM EDT up reply actions

OK lets get some runs back.

Of course, that means a HR, because I don’t think we can score any other way. Why can’t we seem to manufacture runs?

mmmmmmmmmmkay

Strikeouts are not necessary.

by jug on Jun 7, 2008 9:45 PM EDT reply actions

well shit

FYF is 2-4. Why couldn’t he get just one of those singles when there were BASES EFFING LOADED YESTERDAY!@

by jug on Jun 7, 2008 9:46 PM EDT reply actions

he changes his approach with runners on base...

he starts sucking.

Seriously, he starts trying to pull everything on the fence with runners on.

....Myrtle Beach is having an “Office” night on Monday – That could be cool!

by secondbass on Jun 7, 2008 9:48 PM EDT up reply actions

OMG I am so there. My friends got me completely addicted to the Office.

by yondaime4 on Jun 7, 2008 9:49 PM EDT up reply actions

Me too

Everything is an office quote these days, but nobody I work with watches it. I still laugh very much at myself sometimes!

by secondbass on Jun 7, 2008 9:51 PM EDT up reply actions

I just randomly look at an imaginary camera and contort my face when my friends do stupid stuff.

by yondaime4 on Jun 7, 2008 9:54 PM EDT up reply actions

Please

do not even say that.

Must knock on wood now.

by sddbaker on Jun 7, 2008 9:48 PM EDT up reply actions

You guys see about Soriano?

If you haven’t seen the article yet at atlantabraves.com, evidently Soriano is a bit more of a drama queen than he even seemed to be before – Bobby had him warming up to come into the game last night, and Soriano said, “no”. That’s the watered down version. Bobby is not happy with Raffy.

by secondbass on Jun 7, 2008 9:50 PM EDT reply actions

Yeah...I think so...

...but still. Something isn’t sitting well with Bobby, so it can’t be all good.

by secondbass on Jun 7, 2008 9:53 PM EDT up reply actions

I like the little shot at the end about Gonzalez: “it’ll be good to get him back”

by yondaime4 on Jun 7, 2008 9:53 PM EDT up reply actions

Man, and I hope he's right.

We’re losing closers at an alarming pace.

by secondbass on Jun 7, 2008 9:54 PM EDT up reply actions

I think we should trade charlie morton and jason heyward for JJ Putz

I think

I don’t. I have no confidence in our pen anymore.

by chopchop on Jun 7, 2008 10:32 PM EDT up reply actions

If you mean Chipper

he doesnt need any prayers. He’s unconcious at the plate right now. Ted Williams status. at least the way he’s hitting this year.

by chopchop on Jun 7, 2008 10:36 PM EDT up reply actions

well

I just heard bobby said “What’s the fucking idea back there?”

by jug on Jun 7, 2008 10:11 PM EDT reply actions

Yeah apparently not

But they PTV mikes caught EVERY word, haha.

If nothing else, you got to love how Bobby defends his players.

by jug on Jun 7, 2008 10:14 PM EDT up reply actions

Esco didn't get tossed....

Bobby’s just generally pissed and taking it out on the ump.

by sddbaker on Jun 7, 2008 10:14 PM EDT up reply actions

Oh no

he got tossed. He motioned him out then he motioned him thrown out.

by jug on Jun 7, 2008 10:15 PM EDT up reply actions

really...

Pete thought so at first, but said Esco still on the bench. I just have radio.

by sddbaker on Jun 7, 2008 10:16 PM EDT up reply actions

well, its not in the boxscore

so maybe not? I swear he motioned him out and Bobby cursed him.

by jug on Jun 7, 2008 10:17 PM EDT up reply actions

they said...

the ump was showing extra flair with his out call—that’s what BC didn’t like…guess we’ll find out…not that it matters much

by sddbaker on Jun 7, 2008 10:18 PM EDT up reply actions

well I think escobar has been known to show a little extra ‘flair’ also

by yondaime4 on Jun 7, 2008 10:23 PM EDT up reply actions

he had been

every AB. I wonder if Yunel used some Spanish curse…

by jug on Jun 7, 2008 10:24 PM EDT up reply actions

I'm depleted.

another loss. 5.5 GB. really? I thought we were picked to win the WS? When are we going to play like it? I’m tired of being patient. I want to blow people out of the water by like 14 runs. oh well, tomorrow is another day. here’s to avoiding the sweep.

go braves. all hail the Almighty Chipper.

by jug on Jun 7, 2008 10:22 PM EDT reply actions

We really need

one of those blowout games….I can’t remember the last one.

Good night, and Larry bless.

by sddbaker on Jun 7, 2008 10:46 PM EDT up reply actions

Well

I am going to watch *61 and pretend Barry Bonds doesn’t exist and that the Braves won tonight. Its okay to be delusional, right?

by jug on Jun 7, 2008 10:27 PM EDT reply actions

nevermind

I’ve never watched this before. Its terrible. I think I’m just going to drink. Maybe in the dark.

by jug on Jun 7, 2008 10:29 PM EDT up reply actions

in the dark?

i should try that. here goes…

Sadly, it’s only beer. But it’s Sierra Nevada Summer Ale. Mighty fine, even in the light.

by WienerDog on Jun 7, 2008 10:33 PM EDT up reply actions

mmm

yes it is. it sure is.

by jug on Jun 7, 2008 10:35 PM EDT up reply actions

I highly recommend being delusional...

it’s been the only thing that’s helped me since I gave up drinking.

by Lizziebeth on Jun 7, 2008 10:36 PM EDT up reply actions

sorry

we couldn’t post Smoltz’s posterior tonight, Lizziebeth.

by jug on Jun 7, 2008 10:37 PM EDT up reply actions

maybe

we could have an alternate hottie pic when we lose? Something to look forward to on these hot summer nights…Erin Andrews with a whip?

Maybe enough Sierra for me…

by WienerDog on Jun 7, 2008 10:44 PM EDT up reply actions

Sigh, me too.

When I left the game, it was tied. Heartbreaking to hear the score when I got in the car at the train station.

by Lizziebeth on Jun 7, 2008 10:38 PM EDT up reply actions

I know, I know

but I was doing the “Jerseys Off Our Backs” for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, and have been on my feet since 2. I actually had to walk to the stadium from the GA State MARTA station (at least a mile?), as well as walk around the Ted from 2-9 selling raffle tickets, all in 95 degree weather.
I know, there’s no crying in baseball! (waaaahh).
;)

by Lizziebeth on Jun 7, 2008 10:45 PM EDT reply actions

In that case...

you are forgiven. And there is A LOT of crying in baseball around here, or there has been this week, anyway.

by sddbaker on Jun 7, 2008 10:49 PM EDT up reply actions

nevermind.

You were doing Larry’s work! Sorry to spout off without knowing the situation! Please forgive me.

by jug on Jun 7, 2008 10:50 PM EDT up reply actions

Just to clarify "Our Larry" reference...

I posted this pic I took at the game last night before I read the entire thread. So when I put “Our Larry”, I certainly didn’t mean it in the “Our Pujols” vein of thought – referring the earlier brief discussion of possibly changing the use of Pujols to Larry. Chipper’s not on my short list of favorite players, but I will give him his due for the superior athleticism he’s been displaying lately (stealing bases? omg…knock me down and make me shut up).
I only meant it as he’s ‘our’ boy and doing well – and I thought Weiner Dog and sddbaker would like the pic (despite the inferior quality). Chipper is no Pujols.
I’m with royhobbs, “Pujols it is”.

by Lizziebeth on Jun 8, 2008 10:26 AM EDT up reply actions

Escobar WAS ejected. KJ said post-game that the umpire told Kelly that Escobar said “fuck you” to him; Kelly said he didn’t hear him say anything and the replays I watched didn’t appear to show any movement of Escobar’s lips.

- Oh, Bobby. -

by sdp on Jun 7, 2008 11:47 PM EDT reply actions

Hey all.

I got to thinking…

Maybe it isn’t a good idea to replace Pujols with Larry. I mean, I’m not all the superstitious except when it comes to baseball. And Chipper has gone this far without us praying to him, maybe we shouldn’t start. In fact, we should all take back our blasphemy against Pujols, and hope he doesn’t smite us for worshiping a false idol.

Am I out of line or does this make sense?

by jug on Jun 7, 2008 11:51 PM EDT reply actions

Whoa

What in the name of … I don’t even know who to use anymore!

I’ll stick with my own guns – Pujols it was before TC, Pujols it is for me, always.

These losses sting. Even more so, now that FOX was pleasuring themselves to death by being able to throw out the stat of “Cubs have best home record in NL” instead of the Braves during the inferior game of the week.

I hate to say it, and bring up a sense of urgency, but we have to win tomorrow’s game, like nobody else’s business. Because a team that can’t win on the road like ours, going to the “new” best home team in the league in the Cubs, it’s going to be a miserable week, if things don’t roll our way. And getting swept by the Phillies at home is unbearable. Makes sweeping the Mets pretty much pointless, to me.

Crazy, Crazier, Craziest:
Next Thursday, I’m going on another mini-trip.
Crazy: It’s to Las Vegas … again.
Crazier: The Braves will be in Anaheim at that time, which is only four hours away from Las Vegas.
Craziest: I’m seriously giving it some thought.

Losses don’t suck as bad if you don’t watch them, so I’m actually quite level-headed right now, even at 1:14 a.m. I’m not as big of a drinker as it may seem, and I haven’t drank anything at all tonight. But man, do I hope for the best tomorrow. I’m guessing it’ll be Oscar2 pitching, perhaps he can pull us out of this rut, and protect this house.

No wonder nobody likes you, Tuttle... everything's a (Pujols) damn debate.

by royhobbs on Jun 8, 2008 1:15 AM EDT reply actions

Agreed..

about losses not being as bad when you don’t see them. I was out of the country for most of the miserable June of 2006 and couldn’t even get scores, or I may have jumped off a bridge.

About that game in Anaheim….you HAVE to go and take the magic of TC to a Braves road game.
