TEX TO DODGERS???
Just throwin this out their but this does make since if, IF we fall out of the race. I think the Dodgers have the best prospects or young ready players playing right now. Plus the Dodgers are looking for a power bat!
All fans would ask for Kershaw if they were GM but we know that we wouldn't get him! So this is what i thought of the top of my head. We receive Matt Kemp, James Loney and Johnathan Broxton! Kemp can be a 30-30 guy and he'll get that many steals this year i think! Yes we have lots of OF'ers now but right now its lookin like no one has a job lock down for next year. Not even Frenchy. Plus he adds to the young guys Loney replaces Tex. Broxton gives us a young arm that could be our future closer. Maybe we could get 1 more but i don't know.
And if we tried for Kershaw i think we would have to give up atleast lillebridge to even start talking about him. What do you guys think??? Oh, and do the Braves have any interest in Micheal Inoa? He's only 16 but i read he's equivealent of being a 1st round pick. A's are the top contender if im not mistaken?

TEX
The Dodgers probably would not give up that much for less than one half year of TEX. The Braves would need to sweeten the pot, maybe include Ohman or Gonzalez. The Broxton part would be great, but Kemp/Loney for Tex would be more than fair and allow the Braves to continue to stay competitive in 2008. If Wren had that fall in his lap, no way he turns it down.
No.
I’d be impressed if the Dodgers gave up Loney alone for half a season of Tex, at this point. Kemp and Broxton are going nowhere. This isn’t fantasy baseball…

I would be excited and HAPPY if we make a Loney for Tex trade straight up.
braves077, dude this aint fantasy baseball and Ned Colleti aint that stupid, he pretty stupid but not quite that stupid. hahahha. Then you had the nerve of sayin we MIGHT get 1 more player along with the players you said. Dude please put the pipe away. hahahahhaahahha.

Wooo, alright...
haha, i get what your saying…lol.. but im talkin if the Dodgers feel like thier sure they could resign Tex… I guess i should of put that in the topic it would of really helped. Anyway do you guys know if we showed any slight interest in Inoa???
I Think...
Everyone showed interest in him, but the A’s are the likely winners. I wish we made a greater push, but I guess I get the concern with making such a large investment on such a young pitcher…
